A genuine example of the privately purchased Studington Officers Cap, size 6 and 7/8th. Retailed by Studd & Millington Military Tailors London, Epsom, St Albans and Berkhamstead (See accompanying advertising print). The Cap displays well with some light mothing and leather liner loose. The badge is the scarce silver and blue enamelled backed Officers Guards Machine Gun Corp (GMGC) badge - a very scarce badge to this short lived WW1 unit.
