Here's a guide to successful sales on Collexchange
When militaria is sold
- We receive payment from the buyer into our secure Stripe account.
- We email you confirmation of the sale and safe receipt of payment.
- We connect you with the buyer, exchanging email and/or phone contact details.
- You and the buyer discuss next steps and take it from here.
Packaging and Shipping
- Militaria sold on Collexchange excludes shipping.
- Buyers are responsible for delivery and payment of all shipping-related fees.
- We recommend all shipments are securely packaged, tracked and insured.
- Shipping requirements vary and - for example:.
- Buyers may choose a collection and delivery service.
- Buyers may email the pre-paid postage label to the seller, requesting the seller
- Securely package and post the item.
- Sometimes, the buyer and seller may come to mutual agreement.
Payment and Transaction Fees
- We hold the buyer’s payment in our secure Stripe account during the 30-day purchase protection.
- At this stage, we manage any refunds to give buyers essential peace of mind.
- After 30 days, we transfer payment to your bank account – less our modest service fee of 15%+vat.
- Collexchange pay all Stripe transaction fees.
- To welcome you to Collexchange, we don’t charge any commission on your first item sold.
