WW1 Kings Regiment Liverpool Scottish Officer Full Dress Hair Sporran

WW1 / WW2 Canadian 48th Highlanders Officers Sporran

£550.00

WW1/WW2 Era Canadian 48th (Fraser) Highlanders Officers Full Dress Sporran. This is an original WW1/WW2 era Canadian Army Officers full dress sporran for a member of the 48th Highlanders. I say WW1 as the back has the numbers "134" written on it. This was the 134th Overseas Battalion for the 48th Highlanders who served with the Canadian Expeditionary Forces in WW1. The sporran was most likely passed along within the regiment and was used again in WW2 as the badge is a second war vintage badge. There are no extra holes behind the cantle badge. The hair body is in excellent shape, no shedding and or bald spots. This is true of the tassles, though one is slightly less full bodied that the other two. Officers name barely visible written on rear pouch flap. Nice period example that has not been toyed with.
