Royal Navy Interest. A Pair of Vice Admirals Shoulder Boards belonging to Admiral Sir Bruce Fraser, (1888-1981) later Lord Fraser of North Cape, GCB, KBE. A senior Royal Navy Officer, he served throughout WW1 and saw action in the Gallipoli Campaign and took part in the internment of the German High Seas Fleet at the end of the war. In WW2 he was Third Sea Lord and Controller of the Navy later Commander of the Home Fleet and lead the force that destroyed the German Battleship "Scharnhorst". He was instrumental in the founding of NATO. In excellent condition. Came with other items including his Cap contained in its original tin.
