Third Reich Army Dove Head Sword by WKC, Solingen, nicely detailed untouched example with gilt brass langet in form of Army short winged eagle and swastika, engraved knuckle bow and dove head pommel. Black celluloid covered grip with wire binding. The ferrule has oak leaves running around circumference. Housed in its steel blackened scabbard, polished slightly curved blade with fuller to the back edge. Makers trademark under the langet. The blade measures 31 ¾ inches, overall 37 ½ inches. This pattern of sword is referenced as WKC pattern (unattributed) with short-winged cast national emblem.
