The Prince of Wales Leinster Regiment (Royal Canadians Officers Helmet plate)

A scarce officers Helmet Plate to this regiment the 100th Foot was raised in Canada in 1875 and merged 109th foot in 1881 to form the PoW Leinster Regiment (Royal Canadians). The plate has been cleaned and presents very nicely. The normal loops have not been used to attach the plate to the helmet. These have been metal tangs which are not in good condition, but it would still attach to a board. A very scarce plate and priced to sell.
