Kreigsmarine / U-Boat Engineer Officers Cap SOLD

This is a 100% authentic, it was brought back just after the war by a veteran, Then left to his son who had no interest in military items, he passed away a few months back and his wife Dorothy contacted me asking if I would be interested so I went to see her and climbed in her loft to get the box of bits, she told me she has always hated the cap and wanted it out of her place, there is no provenance with this so I'm selling for Dorothy at a reduced price please look carefully at the pictures before buying, truly amazing item, in great condition for its age, it's grubby and smells so old but it's a nice smell,  blue caps were worn at sea so you can understand they won't be new looking like the white tops, I've seen these being sold for between £2-£3000 so any serious collector should take this opportunity to own something that is only going rise in value,
