German World War II Kriegsmarine Officer’s Dagger produced by W K C

This is a German World War II Kriegsmarine Officer’s Dagger produced by W K C featuring an etched blade with speckled spotted damage in parts. The dagger has a white celluloid grip with very small chips at the top end with twisted wire brading. The pommel features an eagle with outstretched wings holding a wreathed swastika in its talons. The brass crossguard includes two arms that taper towards the blade’s ricasso, with a rectangular block in the centre depicting a fouled anchor, complete with the release button. The brass scabbard has the classic lightning bolts design complete with hanging rings, with a slight dent to the bottom end of the scabbard Overall, the Kriegsmarine officer’s dress dagger is a nice period piece in reasonable condition for its age hence the good price it's being sold for.
